Each year, more and more people visit the County for this special
event, and many more "County-ites" join in the year's first welcome to
Spring. Self-directed and intended to be two days of fun and relaxed
entertainment for the whole family, Maple in the County features, first
and foremost, the sugar bush and syrup production. But don't miss all
the great food, music, shopping, dancing, fine dining, and family
activities. |

|
More local Wineries than ever before will be participating, paired with
some of the best foods The County has to offer. Some very special guest
surprises are in store, along with remarkably interesting seminars,
presentations, and demonstrations, and a chance to sample a great
variety of fine wines from Canada's newest wine region all in one place.
|

|
The event is set up with six wine and food stations scattered throughout
the vineyard and each station has a different barrel sample of wine and
a different chef creating a dish to pair with the wine. The party then
carries back to the winery where there are desserts, local coffee and
cheeses and of course live music on the patio. |

|
For two weeks each March and November, Prince Edward County's finest restaurants dish out three course prix fixe dinner menus created by each participating chef exclusively for the promotion.
|

|
A celebration of regional cuisine, our annual one-day wine and culinary event featuring regional chefs, gifted growers, wonderful winemakers and the best beers, cider and cuisine Prince Edward County has to offer!

Not only do we present jazz stars on
stage, top names that you would expect, but we present them in a very
special place: The County. You may know Prince Edward County, in which
case you have felt its charms but if you don't, you have to come here
to fully appreciate the soft, carefree atmosphere of the place. |
