Enjoy a wine tasting in the antique barn at By Chadsey’s Cairns Winery; marvel at the modern Huff Estate Winery, their premier country inn and the beautiful new Oeno Gallery; sample wines in the magnificent tasting room after touring The Grange of Prince Edward Estates Winery; and relax in the beautiful setting at Casa-Dea Estate Winery. Other wineries visited may include the charming Sandbanks Estate Winery or the award winning Norman Hardie Winery.

‘TASTE OF THE COUNTY’ GOURMET DINNER AND WINE TOUR

No need to worry about drinking and driving!

Your guide/chauffeur will escort you to three boutique wineries for an afternoon tour of private wine tastings and a tour of one winery. Wineries may include Huff Estates Winery, By Chadsey’s Cairns Winery, Black Prince Winery, Sandbanks Estate Winery, Norman Hardie Winery, or The Grange of Prince Edward County Winery.

Time to relax during a gourmet dinner with a multi-course meal paired with wine at the Waring House Restaurant and Inn overlooking beautiful gardens or at the highly acclaimed Harvest Restaurant.

After dinner, your guide will take you back to your accommodations.

Daily tours start at 3:00 p.m. and finish at approximately 8:30 p.m.

PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY BY VIA RAIL, GOURMET DINNER AND AFTERNOON WINE TOUR

Take a leisurely train ride from Toronto to Belleville and spend a wonderful afternoon on a wine tour of this virtual island.

A luxury passenger vehicle with local guide/chauffeur will meet you on arrival at the train station in Belleville. Your tour includes visits to four award winning wineries with a tour of one and private wine tastings at each winery visited. First stop includes a tour of international award winning winery Huff Estates with its country inn and beautiful art gallery and a private tasting of some of their finest wines. Other award winning boutique wineries visited may include; Sandbanks Estate Winery, Rosehall Run, Norman Hardie, the Grange of Prince Edward County, By Chadsey’s Cairns Winery, Hillier Creek, Sugarbush Vineyards, or Black Prince Winery.

Following the wine tour, relax over a four course gourmet dinner with paired wines at the Waring House Restaurant and Country Inn. After dinner your guide will transfer you back to the train for the ride back to Toronto.

The train leaves Toronto at 11.35 a.m. and arrives in Belleville at 1.30 p.m. The train departs Belleville at 9.00 p.m. and arrives in Toronto at 11.00 p.m.

Price of $228.00 per person plus tax includes return Via Rail transportation, local guide, afternoon tour of Prince Edward County wine country, and four course gourmet dinner with paired wines.

Package can be adjusted to include one night’s accommodation.
